The Hobby Boss 1/350 scale HMS LORD NELSON
This was bought for me many years ago by my wife, Jenny. However, I have had a lot of higher priority modelling projects, so it has been in the stash for ages! I finally decided it was time to get this one built..
I am still waiting for some photo etch to attempt the cage antennas, but for now I'm calling it done. I have used a combination of EZ line and Infini line for the rigging, and used an excellent Ship Yard Works Laminate wooden deck. The name plate was printed off by me, and a plinth had to be sourced as this kit does not come with a stand!
The photo etch was for the most part OK, but one of the sheets was very weak, with parts falling apart as I attempted to bend them into shape - rectified with extra gluing!!!
